ABOUT US

Our goal at InteractiveWoods is to provide our clients with quality, handmade products they will cherish for years to come. We design and build all of our products in a small shop located outside the city of Chicago, Illinois.

FURNITURE

All our furnishings are handmade and crafted from premium grade woods found in North America and Africa. Depending on the piece, we use old world joinery techniques which adds both beauty and strength. We currently provide a broad range of bedroom, dining, and entryway furniture. Finally, we use a hand rubbed tung oil finish and buff to perfection. Each piece will provide happiness to you and your family for generations to come.

Concrete furnishings come in a variety of colors and styles. We are currently providing table tops and bench tops with exposed aggragate finish and polished only. The colors on the site are actual scans of the run of tops that was poured. Monitor quality can alter the actual color so you should use this as a guide only. If an exact color match is needed, we sometimes have samples we can send from a given pour.

The concrete tops are made with strength in mind, but please note that over time, small hairline cracks may appear in the top. This is normal as the concrete continues to harden for years after the pour. If a crack should become too large, we will consider a replacement with what materials are currently available at that time and it is soley on our discretion.

All tops are finished with a penetrating sealer and then waxed to a satin sheen. These are truely one of a kind pieces and provide a beutiful addition to any living space.

HEIRLOOM TOYS

All toys that we produce are made one at a time, and constructed from North American hardwoods. Colors we use are dyes made for childrens toys and are non toxic. Finally, we finish with a hand rubbed non toxic oil to protect the appearance of the toy.

MARTIAL ARTS DISPLAYS / RACKS

We have designed a new line of products that cater to the martial artist. Our Martial Arts Belt Display Racks come in various designs and styles. Each item again is handmade in our shop and finished on a per order basis. We can do custom printing to match a school logo, or your descipline. We have sold many display locally to Taekwondo and some Kenpo schools.

Since we are a small shop, we can custom make or change a design to fit the needs of your school. If you prefer a new color scheme, or Belt count, please email us for a custom quote. We are glad to accomodate any size order, big or small.

We do sell to individuals but also are currently offering special pricing to school / club owners looking to purchase our displays for resale. Please contact our sales department for further information and pricing.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

We currently accept all the following major credit cards for purchase online: VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS. Checks are accepted but there is a waiting time for the check to clear our bank before we can ship. Shipping is usually through UPS Ground, or USPS unless otherwise specified. Currently we no longer stock custom furnishings, we are buiulding those on a request basis only due to the large amount of interest in our other products.
